Carefor Hospice Cornwall

Peace. Comfort. Dignity.

Providing hospice care in Cornwall and area, Carefor Hospice Cornwall gives end of life care in a home like setting. Hospice Cornwall provides end of life care in a home like setting to the residents of the City of Cornwall, Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry, as well as Prescott and Russell Counties.

We offer regular support groups as well as a 6-week closed group session for family and caregivers who have lost a loved one.

As part of the Hospice team they provide a reassuring presence to the resident and their support network in many different ways.

We currently offer three different programs: the Palliative Day Program, the Volunteer Visiting Program, and Caregiver Support.

  • Volunteer at Hospice

Volunteers are an integral and valued part of our team at Carefor Hospice Cornwall.

We offer specialized training in all areas. All volunteers are required to have a valid police check on file to work within our organization. They also must take part in a Palliative Care Course, given by a registered health care professional. This course covers all aspects of end-of-life care and how it pertains to volunteering at Hospice.

To learn more about volunteering, please contact us at 613-938-2763 ext. 4140 or visit our contact us page
