Carefor is Eastern Ontario’s largest home and community support services not-for-profit charity, offering holistic care and support to seniors, people living with disabilities and their caregivers. We have been enriching lives in Ottawa, Pembroke-Renfrew County and Eastern Counties since 1897, giving people choice in how they want to live their lives through in-home care, community programs, retirement living or our hospice in Cornwall.

For nearly 20,000 seniors and people with disabilities in Eastern Ontario each year, Carefor is that person. Our staff work throughout our communities providing in home care, through community programs and in our retirement homes and our hospice.
We’re who you can count on when life’s circumstances change. When you want to be independent but need some extra help around the home. When have a medical appointment but need a ride. When you want to meet new people or find new ways to be active. And when you are well enough to be home, but not well enough to be alone.
