The Physiotherapist is responsible for the assessment, treatment, consultation, and counseling of clients and their families in the community by restoring movement/function and pain management; developing personalized exercise programs to develop/restore range of motion, strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance; administering chest and cardiac rehabilitation treatments; administering modalities; and prescribing/training clients to use mobility aids, adaptive devices, transfer aids, and other equipment.

Under the supervision of the Care Team Supervisor, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for the provision and management of cost effective, quality nursing care to residents of the Carefor Mackay Centre. The RPN will assume a leadership role by teaching, delegating, and providing guidance to different levels of workers within the care team. Under the supervision of the Care Team Supervisor, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides personal support and homemaking services to individuals. Care is provided within the framework of policies, procedures, standards and quality & risk management as established by Carefor Health and Community Services and the management of the Pembroke Civic Complex.
