Under the supervision of the Care Team Supervisor, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for the provision and management of cost effective, quality nursing care to residents of the Carefor Mackay Centre. The RPN will assume a leadership role by teaching, delegating, and providing guidance to different levels of workers within the care team. Care is provided within the framework of quality & risk management, Carefor policies and procedures, and the standards and scope of practice set by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Under the supervision of the Care Team Supervisor, the Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides personal support and homemaking services to individuals. Care is provided within the framework of policies, procedures, standards and quality & risk management as established by Carefor Health and Community Services and the management of the Pembroke Civic Complex. The PSW collaborates with members of the health care team in meeting the needs of individuals to attain an optimal level of independence and wellbeing.
