Responsibilities will be performed in accordance with food handling and safety standards, Canada\u2019s Food Guide, and within the framework of Care<em>f<\/em>or Health and Community Services class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n                            <ul>\n<li>Maintaining a clean, safe environment<\/li>\n<li>Performing tasks according to duty sheet<\/li>\n<li>Setting up equipment and supplies for food preparation<\/li>\n<li>Assists in prepares meals, dessert, and\/or snacks following standardized approved recipes, being careful to minimize waste and leftovers, and cook food according to sanitation and standardized guidelines pertaining to food preparation<\/li>\n<li>Cleanup of kitchen and dining area<\/li>\n<li>Serving meals to clients\/residents<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring timely service of meals<\/li>\n<li>Handling and storing all left over foods according to food handling guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Makes observations of resident behaviour and intervenes according to job expectation e.g. nutritional intake, disruptive behaviour in dining room, attendance for meals, general concerns affecting operations of the dietary department<\/li>\n<li>Report observed concerns to supervisor or designate<\/li>\n<li>Becoming familiar with individual resident\u2019s dietary preferences, allergies, and diet restrictions<\/li>\n<li>Assisting residents, if needed, to cut food or pour beverages<\/li>\n<li>Promptly reports any problems, accidents, emergency situations, and complaints of residents regarding service to the supervisor or designate<\/li>\n<li>Functions and reports in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and Care<i>f<\/i>or policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Reports the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective device of which he\/she is aware and which may endanger him\/herself or another worker<\/li>\n<li>Reports any violations of the Health and Safety Act or the regulations, or the existence of any hazard<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all workplace incidents are reported in a timely manner in accordance with legislation,
