Make a difference in your community, volunteer with Carefor!

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do at Carefor. So many of our programs and services wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated volunteers.

Across Eastern Ontario are seniors and people living with disabilities whose lives are made better through your help. You allow us to support more people in our communities helping them through challenging times or in leading their best lives possible.

Right now, we have opportunities throughout Carefor for people wanting to give back by helping people in need in their community. Just some of these opportunities are in:

“I find I get more out of this than I ever give. It’s very rewarding.”  – Doreen, Carefor Volunteer

  • Programs for people living with dementia
  • Transportation
  • Friendly Visiting
  • Meal Delivery
  • Caregiver Support
  • And many more

Our commitment to volunteers:

  • To be valued as an important person in the organization and recognized for individual volunteer commitment and service.
  • To be offered assignments that are meaningful and suitable based on the skills of the volunteer.
  • To be provided with orientation and training and ongoing support.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you!

Q. What is the process for becoming a volunteer at Carefor?
