Job description:
The goal of Carefor’s IT team is to enhance user’s technology experiences while continuously improving Carefor’s day-to-day operations. As an IT Application Administrator, you will administer and maintain a broad range of business applications and software, such as customer relationship management (CRM), help desk, fundraising, productivity and work flow and ensure that Carefor’s IT business systems and applications run smoothly and efficiently in a largely mobile environment
What you will do:
- Creating, maintaining, querying and updating databases applications
- Maintain user accounts and manage user permissions in accordance with privacy and security requirements
- Support the integration of applications with business processes (e.g. payroll and billing)
- Monitor performance and assess user requirements of business applications and software
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages
- Develop key indicators and use statistical analysis to optimize performance of business applications and software
- Perform scheduled maintenance of business applications and software
- Work with vendors and users to develop dashboards, tools and reports
- Coordinate and test application upgrades, new releases and patches
- Develop user support materials and provides training to various Carefor staff
- Develop quality control procedures, standards and tools to support applications
- Create, maintain and contribute to technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
- Research, evaluate and test new software solutions
- Work collaboratively with other IT staff to plan, troubleshoot and resolve issues
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum 5 years of relevant application management experience with integrated CRM based systems (ideally Home Health Care planning and scheduling software) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- GoldCare application experience is an asset
- Demonstrated ability supporting, maintaining, and administering applications with mobile users
- Hands on experience with process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness
- Working knowledge of Windows Server architecture
- Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture is an asset
- Experience with SQL Query Development is an asset
- Knowledge of Rocket UniVerse, MSSQL, MYSQL, Apache Tomcat, and Microsoft IIS is an asset
- Experience with compliance and methodologies surrounding Personal Health Information privacy and security
- Experience executing logical and complex troubleshooting methods
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to effectively interface and communicate with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
